The experience of the partners and wider HNM team in relation to commenting on and drafting legislation and regulations is vast and spans many years. The following are a few examples of our experience in this field:
We have drafted the National Language Policy and the Language Policy for the Department of Arts and Culture; drafted regulations for Department of Public Service and Administration; and advised and drafted regulations for the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) on the reorganisation of schools in Gauteng.
We have also advised on and been part of the team that drafted the regulations on critical databases and critical information infrastructure in compliance with section 53 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) for the Department of Communications.
