Graduate Recruitment

HNM recruits two to three law graduates annually for practical vocation training (PVT) at our Johannesburg office for two years. We seek well-rounded, ambitious candidates who are team players and passionate about transforming the legal profession. PVT at HNM covers hands-on experience across various areas of law at the highest level, providing a strong foundation for a successful career.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process has two stages: an initial interview with at least two committee members, followed by a second interview with HNM’s board and a one-day workshop.

Criteria

South African LLB degree or final-year student, preferably with an undergraduate bachelor’s degree;

  • Strong academic results;
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellence and a passion for the law;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Computer Literate;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
